The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District in Beaverton is the largest special park district in the state and offers 70 miles of trails, eight swim centers, 6 recreational centers, and about 1,500 acres of natural areas. There is also Cooper Mountain Nature Park that is a must-visit. The 230-acre park offers grand views of the Chehalem Mountains and 3 ½ miles of trails that pass through woodlands, prairies, and conifer forests. Hyland Forest Park, and Rock Creek Trail are also great options for outdoor recreation.
