TMG Cares Volunteers Help Save Lives Throughout the Pacific Northwest at Blood Drive

May 7, 2024 | This week, TMG Cares and the TMG Family of Companies came together for a cause that truly makes a difference: donating blood. On May 7th, 33 individuals, including 29 employees, 2 employee family members, and two community walk-ins, boarded the Bloodworks Northwest mobile blood drive bus stationed at the TMG offices in Vancouver, WA.

The blood donated during this drive will be utilized locally, directly benefiting patients in need across a spectrum of critical situations. From trauma care after accidents to surgeries, organ transplants, and aiding those undergoing cancer treatment or managing blood disorders—the contributions made today will undoubtedly save lives.

Bloodworks Northwest stands at the forefront of this vital endeavor. As an independent, non-profit organization, they channel the generosity of donors to ensure a safe, lifesaving blood supply to 95% of hospitals in the Pacific Northwest. Their commitment to saving lives extends beyond mere provision; they engage in research, innovation, education, and uphold excellence in blood, medical, and laboratory services in partnership with the community.

The participation of TMG employees in events like these reflects the company's values of community engagement and social responsibility. By giving back in such a fundamental way, they not only support the immediate needs of patients but also contribute to the broader fabric of societal well-being. Every drop of blood donated today represents a tangible act of compassion and solidarity, embodying the spirit of care and altruism that defines the TMG Family of Companies.

In a world where headlines often highlight division and discord, moments like these remind us of the power of unity and collective action. As we look toward the future, let us carry forward the spirit of generosity exhibited today, knowing that even the smallest contributions can create ripples of hope and healing in the lives of those in need.
