At TMG Cares, we believe in the power of community, compassion, and making a difference. This Valentine’s Day, we were honored to support Raphael House of Portland, a vital resource for survivors of domestic violence, by creating over 200 handcrafted valentines for families and individuals receiving their services.

A Small Gesture with a Big Impact

A group of dedicated volunteers from The TMG Family of Companies came together to craft heartfelt messages of encouragement, love, and support. Each handmade valentine was designed to bring a smile and remind survivors that they are not alone—that their community sees them, values them, and is rooting for their journey toward healing and safety.

About Raphael House of Portland

For over 45 years, Raphael House has been providing life-saving services to individuals and families fleeing abuse. They currently serve over 160 families and 200 individuals from their Portland center. More than just an emergency shelter, they offer advocacy, education, and long-term support to help survivors rebuild their lives free from violence. Coming Together for a Cause

The energy in the room as we created these valentines was inspiring—filled with warmth, teamwork, and a shared commitment to giving back. Each volunteer poured their creativity and care into making sure every card carried a meaningful message of hope.

Valentines were handed out to those staying at their emergency shelter as well as those receiving supportive services through the Raphael House.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Raphael House and play a small role in supporting their mission. This project is a testament to the incredible things that happen when a community comes together with kindness and purpose.
