TMG Cares Volunteers Help Local Non-Profit Kitchen Benefitting Women
May 13, 2024 | This week, TMG Cares and the TMG Family of Companies came together to make a difference at local non-profit Grace Kitchen in Tricities, Washington. On May 13th, 11 volunteers spent two hours packaging retail food products that are sold throughout the area to benefit women who are survivors of addiction, homelessless, poverty and trafficking.
In total, volunteers packaged:
- 114 bags of pasta
- 50 bags of pesto sauce
- 75 bags of creamy garlic sauce
The significance of these numbers extends far beyond mere statistics. Each bag represents a meal, a moment of nourishment, and a ray of hope for those in need. It's a testament to the power of community coming together to uplift and support one another.
At TMG, we are immensely grateful for the opportunity to play a part, no matter how small, in fostering lasting change within the community. By standing in solidarity with Grace Kitchen and the women it serves, we are helping to pave the way for a brighter, more promising future.
As we reflect on this experience, we are reminded of the profound impact that acts of kindness and generosity can have on the lives of others. Together, we have the power to create a ripple effect of positivity and compassion that knows no bounds.
We are grateful to have the opportunity, in some small way, be a part of lasting change in a community of Grace for these women as they secure a future for themselves and their children.
